Published book remembers 9/11

September 11, 2001. A day America would never forget. The world witnessed a series of vicious terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people. Many cried and mourned. Nine years have passed and many are still grieving and missing them.

The self-published book, We Remember is Maureen Crethan Santora’s tribute to the innocent victims and heroes who sacrificed their lives on that tragic day. We Remember is a compilation of gripping stories and profound memories of 9/11 victims from the people who love them.

In this inspiring book, one gets to know those who genuinely sacrificed their lives to save others – modern day heroes who have truly made a mark on the lives of people. Maureen Crethan Santora is a retired educator, having taught in the New York City Public School System for more than 25 years. On September 11, 2001, she lost her son Christopher who was one of the firefighters during the attack. She has published two other books also remembering the 9/11 tragedy, The Day the Towers Fell and My Son Christopher.

Proceeds of this book will go to the Christopher A. Santora Educational Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarship grants to students and educatinal materials to schools.
